Driving

From the North:

 Saw Mill River Parkway South becomes Henry Hudson Parkway South (9a)

Cross Henry Hudson Bridge into Manhattan and pay toll

Take second (left) exit for George Washington Bridge and Riverside Drive

Keep far left on exit ramp. Left at stop sign at end of ramp onto Riverside Drive North.

Take right exit for 181^st Street. Go up ramp.

First right onto Plaza Lafayette (becomes West 181^st Street).

Left at third light onto Ft. Washington Avenue

Synagogue on corner of West 185^th Street and Ft. Washington Avenue.

From Queens:

Grand Central Parkway West to Triboro Bridge to Manhattan

After paying toll, cross bridge and exit right onto Harlem River Drive North

Follow instructions just below:

From East Side of Manhattan:

FDR drive to Harlem River Drive North

Follow left exit up ramp toward George Washington Bridge. Bear right at split toward Lower Level.

Get into rightmost lane quickly (you are now going westbound on the Cross Bronx Expressway).

Follow instructions just below.

From the Bronx:

Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95 South) West into Manhattan

Right exit for Henry Hudson Parkway and 181^st Street.

Right at split in exit ramp for 181^st Street.

Right at light onto West 181^st Street.

Left at second light onto Ft. Washington Avenue

Synagogue on corner of West 185^th Street and Ft. Washington Avenue.

From New Jersey:

Interstate 80 East or New Jersey Turnpike North to George Washington Bridge.

Follow signs to the Upper Level.

Pay toll and get into second lane from right

Exit at end of bridge for Henry Hudson Parkway and 178^th Street.

Follow signs to 178^th Street.

Left at light onto Ft. Washington Avenue

Synagogue on corner of West 185^th Street and Ft. Washington Avenue.

From West Side of Manhattan:

Henry Hudson Parkway North to George Washington Bridge – 178^th Street exit.

Follow signs to 178^th Street.

Left at second traffic light (Broadway)

Left at first traffic light (West 179^th Street)

Right at first traffic light (Ft. Washington Avenue)

Synagogue on corner of West 185^th Street and Fort Washington Avenue

Parking

If you can’t find street parking, there are two nearby garages.

Castle Village Garage:

From the synagogue, go back south on Fort Washington Avenue.

Right onto West 181^st Street.

Right at first traffic light onto Cabrini Blvd.

Garage entrance is just past 200 Cabrini Blvd. – the fifth tall apartment building on the left.

Note: The Castle Village garage no longer gives us a discount.

Fort Tryon Garage:

From the synagogue, continue north on Fort Washington Avenue.

Left at first traffic light onto West 187^th Street.

Right at first traffic light onto Cabrini Blvd.

Garage entrance is on right, just past schoolyard.

Subway

Take the A train uptown to 181^st Street.

Exit toward the front of the train.

After exiting turnstiles, take elevator on right to Ft. Washington Avenue.

Turn right after leaving elevator building.

Cross Ft. Washington Avenue at next light.

Synagogue on corner of West 185^th Street and Ft. Washington Avenue.

NYC Bus

Take the M4 to Fort Washington Avenue and West 185^th Street.

Synagogue is across the street.
