Event Rental

"It's the best kept secret in New York City,” says Pacific Opera director Barry Henry of the acoustic quality in the Hebrew Tabernacle sanctuary.  The magnificent 650 seat capacity auditorium features beautiful stained glass windows, a stained glass dome, 2 side balconies and a full balcony in the rear. There is also an organ and a piano available.  We are wired for any additional sound equipment you might want to use.

Social Hall

Think of it as "off, off, Broadway."  Our 3000 square foot Social Hall has a 350-seat capacity, a beautiful grand piano and a stage for your theatrical production. In a feat of modern engineering, there are no poles or stanchions to block your view.  It is one for the few completely wide-open spaces in the city.  The room can also be arranged "cabaret style", with tables that can seat about 200 people.

Looking for the perfect place to have your wedding reception, retirement party, Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration or Sweet Sixteen?  Look no further than the Social Hall of the Hebrew Tabernacle, located minutes from the George Washington Bridge.  If you are interested in renting the hall for a dinner, the attached full kitchen is available for an additional fee.  All food brought in must be Kosher.  Check with our staff before ordering.  Click on the pictures below for larger images.

Classroom

We also have a quiet, 230 square foot classroom available for studio use or small classes.
